Størrelse: 12-13 cm (hunner). Udbredelse: New Guinea og Ø. Australien (Queensland, New South Wales). Levested: Buske og træer. Føde: Blade fra planter som brombær, eukalyptus, tjørn, eg, ildtorn, hindbær og rose. Ynglebiologi: Meget aktiv i de første nymfestadier, hvor nymfer tilsyneladende søger op i bevoksningen for at nå de højeste grene. Aktivitet og adfærd: Hænger ofte med ryggen nedad i bladhanget, med bagerste del af kroppen bøjet op over ryggen som et krøllet blad. Hannerne flyver gerne, hvis de forstyrres eller når de søger efter hunner. Kønsforskelle: Hunnerne er større end hannerne. Variation: Arten er meget variabel i farven, som kan være brunlig, rødlig, grønlig eller gråbrun. Status: Artens status kendes ikke med sikkerhed, da man endnu ikke har tilstrækkelig viden om dens forekomst i naturen.
